Want to make a Model out of a Viper Emblem (snakehead)

I need a model of a Viper snakehead emblem...I will use Camworks to
create CNC code to machine it into a part...

How can a JPG file be translated into solidworks??..can it??..

Anyone that can help, I appreciate it

 

Baren-Boym sells a relatively inexpensive add-in that works pretty well on
monochrome logos and such. Unfortunately, I can't seem to navigate their

right now to tell you any more about it.

I believe their was some discussion in this newsgroup sometime in the last
year or two that brought up a couple of other solutions as well. Try a
newsgroup search on google.

Wow..thanks Paul...that looks perfect...and it really illustrated the
fact that I dont know crap about doing things in Solidworks,lol...I
have been using it for a year, and would have never have thought of
doing it that way.. So much to learn....


where do you learn things like this??...
