I am trying to open some autocad dwg files in autosketch v7. I am getting
stuck when the program looks for .shx shape files (like
C:\ACADWIN\FONTS\COMPLEX) that apparently exist on the machine of the person
who sent me the files, but not on mine. I can't get around or skip this
step, have to control alt delete my way out of autosketch. The person I got
the files from is not that technical, I don't want to ask them to go into
their pc and send me more stuff, is there anywhere else I can get shx files?
Would it be possible to have the sender SAVE AS his dwg files to dxf and
then send them, and then would they open up nicely in v7?

You could take an existing SHX font on your computer, copy it and rename
    to the missing font.

THANK YOU!!! Following your advice, I did a search of my pc, found there
were lots of shx's in C:\Program Files\AutoSketch\Properties and I used
them. Voila!! You've saved me hours of work!
