Just downloaded the V9 update; double-clicked on the file, it installed temp files - said it was finished. Nothing more happened. When I go to view the temp files, nothing exists. No new program is installed, and V8 is not updated to 9.

    help?!

Ummmm.....what V9 update....??? I think you need to purchase the
    software....!!!!

No such thing as a magical update to convert 1 version to the next. You
really don't believe for a second, AutoDesk would make it that easy do
    you....???!!!

I would hazzard a guess and say you have downloaded the first bug patch.

sorry, I meant upgrade - not update. Owners of V8 are offered the V9 upgrade for $50 off; I chose to download it rather than have them ship it to me.

  4. Would you mind downloading it again - sometimes the connection to the ISP is
    interrupted without
disconnection of the line; this or any similar issue could lead to a corrupt
    downloaded file.

Nope. I've re-downloaded it twice with the same install issue.

  6. I'll escalate it and see what the website folks have to say.

    Will be in touch.
