using entget in a reactor

    I have a very simple reactor that seems to bomb with entget. Rem out that
    line and everything works just fine.

    Is this a known no-no?

    you can use entget in reactors......using command is a no-no

    From the help files:

    Also, to access drawing objects, you must use ActiveX functions; entget and entmod are not
    allowed inside callback functions. See Reactor Use Guidelines for more information.

    You might get by with it sometimes but it should be avoided.

    Nothing about reactors is "obvious" though. Your question
    was fine. You might also find it helpful to search past threads
    for reactor examples.
