    Hello everybody,
I have done monte carlo analysis to do yield
estimation in national semiconductors process(cmos9) 0.18 um
technology. In the same way i tried to do monte carlo analysis for umc
    0.18 um technology.
The device files not having any mc section to include. Anybody have
done monte carlo analysis on umc 0.18 um technology ? Is there any
other way to do yield estimation?

    thanks in advance

    cheers

    Dear Sabyasachi,

This is a technology related question.
You better ask your foundry/PDK provider, i.e. UMC.

    Best Regards,
    Riad.

    Hi Sabyasachi,

As Riad says, this is very PDK dependant.

You might want to check the model files though (ADE->Setup->Model path, I believe). From my
experience with this kit, I think I remember the MC models are in a separate model file (So you will
have to change the model file to a different file, probably with a _mc or _monte suffix, or possibly
in a mc/ or MonteCarlo/ directory, or something along these lines).

    Cheers,
    Stéphane
