    coojo99,

If you haven't already you have to shut down and restart. i have an
Invidia card that has the dual monitor capability and that is what I
had to do for it to recognize that there were two displays. Then I had
to got into Control Panel/Display and poke around. If you have inVidia
card there is an inVidia Tab where you can control dual monitor
    settings.

    Good luck,

I have the monitors working together I can get internet on one and SW
on other EST. My delema is working in SW and say having a assembly on
one , and open a drawing or part on other. The only way I can do it is
by opening SW up twice. Is this the
only way I can do it or can I tile it or some thing In one opening of
SW and drag a window into the second monitor somehow?

    Thanks

The only way to do that is to have two instances of SW open (one on
each screen). You could manually stretch one instance of SW to both
screens but why would you want to.

single session is all that's required.

in sw, "minimize document", drag to second monitor.

I'm not sure I follow, can you elaborate.

How can you drag just one document in a session of SW to a second
    monitor?

I know how to get one session of SW from one monitor to the other. The
original post was asking if there was a way to view an (assembly) on
one monitor and a (part/drawing/whatever) on the other monitor using
    one instance/sessoin of SW.

in sw, "minimize document", drag to second monitor.
hint #2, the lower set of 3 icons. this will allow you to "minimize/re-size
document" thus enabling the ability to drag.

    ;)

Well it must be a Doh, Are you on two screens in one session.?
I cannot get it to work this way if you are.It will not let me drag a
    part or anything threw the
SW screen,On screen one to two , or two to one . maybe spell it out
    instead of the hints.

    Thanks

If you have an option of "enable window spaning of multiple displays"
have that checked. Then size the window across both monitors. Next
verticaly tile the two files that you want to view. Walla.

    Thanks to all

New vidio card in now .Problems solved.
stretching and then tileing seems to work well for what I want.

    Cheers
