tips backlog - multi-body interference detection

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Edward T Eaton, Aug 4, 2003.

  1. Sometimes, its handy to run an interference on a multi-body part. You can
try to insert>features>combine the bodies and see what you get or don't get,
but I've found it to be faster to just drag the part into a new assembly and
do an interference detection - (yes, SW will do interference detection on an
assembly containing one part and tell you if any of the bodies in that
    single part overlap!)
