The 30 day trial

I've went through the 1st tutorial up until I'm suppose to assemble the
cylinder/connecting rod assembly into the engine block assembly. Keep in
mind that this was a fresh install of the 30 day trial and there was no
changing of any settings in the program. When I insert the parts I drew
into the pre-existing block assembly I see that the units of one or the
other are wrong. I would venture that my parts are 25.4 times too big. The
tutorial call guides you in modelling these parts in metric units when the
program default must be set to inches. I was planning on just doing the
tutorial again after I changed the default units but I can't find where this
setting is in the program. I'm a solidworks users by day but I'm always
trying to learn new CAD programs. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Edit-Setup-Units

You can change the units to mm with the choice of leaving the part the same
    size (1" = 25.4mm) or the same units (1" = 1 mm).

You need to "translate" the numbers into the correct units, IOW, Ben's second choice, which will make 25 inches into 25 millimeters, making it 25.4 times smaller.
