Text size in DIMSTLYE=STANDARD DXF dimension

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Richard Coutts, Dec 31, 2003.

  1. I'm writing a R14 DXF text file to be loaded and viewed with autocad.
I'm having trouble getting the proper text size for a dimension using
    the STANDARD dimensions style.

The dimension lines draw properly and the text is shown in the center
of the dimension line, but the text is really tiny. Is there a field
in the DIMENSION entity or elsewhere in the DXF file that can specify
    the text size?

My DXF DIMENSION entity is below.

    Thanks,
    Rich

My DXF file looks like this:
