Text Plots with hollow Letters

I was using a true type font that always printed solid before.
all of the sudden my plots and plot previews show that font as hollow. I
have rebooted my machine and reinstalled AutoCAD. Anybody have an Idea?

Is your TEXTFILL variable set to 1?
When it's 0 they plot hollow.

 

is the hide box checked?

 

that did it thanks. I have no idea how the got change.

 

It's a mystery to me with *that* variable, but often variables are reset by
LISP routines written by hacks like me and are not reset when the routine is
cancelled midstream because the hack has not included an error handler. One
of these days I'm going to understand error handling and go back and fix all
my lisps.....
