The original post on our ftp site did NOT include the SolidWorks files.
    It now does.

Can you arrange for al the presentations etc. to be available for all
solidworks users worldwide, who could not attend ..... if nec in the
    subscription area.

    THANKS ........

The stuff thats shown here (ie your previous, and excellent 101, 201
etc. is usually in excess of the knowledge of VAR's .... so for
advanced users (and not so advanced) it is a VITAL part of getting the
    most from solidworks.

.......... Personally I'd like to see such stuff in SWKS user manuals
.... but I guess that would make them too thick (and maybe too scary for
    new users ;-) )

    best

When I managed to visit SolidWorks World for just 6 hours, all I could
do was visit the exhibitor floor booths, and say hello to a few people
I recognized. I had the funds, but not the time to attend conferences
and be able to qualify to receive the DVD.

I met one of the SolidWorks guys at their booth and noted that fully
99% of the SolidWorks users simply can't get to SWks World.

I asked that SolidWorks management consider that reality & then arrange
to sell the Solidworks World 2006 DVD to at least their registered
customers who can' t hope to make it to the show. We users need all
the help we can get. SolidWorks, as with any 3D CAD program, are
amongst the most complex single user computer programs used and it
always seems to me, there is never enough time to learn it all.

I hope Mark Biasotti can bring this up for review and consideration.

    Thanks Much - Bo Clawson

The SWW team (include myself) will be meeting in the next couple of
weeks to do a post-mortem as we always do and we will serious discuss
this topic and see what we can do for our subscription customers. I
will get back to both forums on this matter when we make a decision.
As far a training material, there is a new 2006 Advanced Part Modeling
Guide that was very well written by our training doc guy Dave Pancoast.
You can get it from your VAR and he can discuss the details on how to
    best review it with you.

I am sure everyone here on the SolidWorks group appreciates having key
issues from SWks Users heard in the management review.

The overarching issue for USERS that I see/hear, which affects all
aspects of 3D CAD, whether training, implementation, use, upgrades,
debugging, instructions, training, and of course, SolidWorks World is
summed up in 2 safe four letter words!

    TIME LOSS

Things that waste time unnecessarily, including SWks official upgrade
instructions which are wrong (I swear it is true), are things which
just grate on us users, when we know that many of them should not occur
or should have been eliminated a long long time ago (think upgrade
instructions as one simple issue, not even involving code).

Many Thanks Indeed, Mark Please keep us posted.
