    Hi good people!

Easy one for you. SW2008 BOM... seems the "keep missing items" check box
is missing and is turned on with strike out!

Is there a way to turn it off? We do proposals for the Engineer and
client which change over time but do not change the drawing revision. By
the time we get the the first revision we have a bunch of deleted or
changed items struck out in BOM and can't get rid of them. Even deleting
the whole table and inserting a new one doesn't help.

    Thanks for your replies!

No one can help me? Do you see the "keep missing items" check box in the
    material list properties box?

    Thanks

Not sure what to tell you. I do not see this happening on any of the
BOM's I create. I have created quite a few in SW2008. What does your
    VAR say about the issue?

I suspect since no one else has chimed in that this has not been a
    problem for them either.

One thought, are you using an old BOM template. Try creating a new
one from scratch and see if the issues goes away. You may need to re-
    create your BOM templates.

Can you post a screen shot somewhere of your Feature Properties for
    one of your offending BOM's.

No the box "keep missing items" does not appear in my BOM properties.

    Cheeers,

    Anna

Have you gone through all the options for BOMS? What are they set to?

Ok thanks. That's what I need to know. I have found a way to manually
delete the strike out entries but will look further into how to turn it off.

    Cheers

Yes - I can't see any option to keep missing options such as there was
in 2007, nor for the use of the strike out.

    Cheers
