Microstation seems to have no Quadrant snap as such - only keypoint snap that dividesa circle into 4, alllowing to find points to snap to at the corners & does the same with ellipses. However, if I trim an ellipse, to form an elliptical arc, I can no longer snap to it's quadrants - even though IMHO it still has obvious quadrants to it, & certain other CAD programs can achieve this. So is there any way I can snap to these quadrants? short of leaving construction lines for each ellipse I draw - or is the problem due to some fundamental difference in the way Microstation represents ellipses in its drawing database & as such does not identify an eliptical arc as having any special properties other than those of a B-Spline?
