I have just started a new job and have inherited the technical specs for the building on AutoSketch format. However, the creator of the files has since left the company, and hence we no longer have AutoSketch.

Could someone be so kind as to convert the files from .SKF to .DWF so I can view them on Volo View.

    Thanking you all

    Buy a copy.....it's cheap enough.

    QuickCAD is even cheaper.....!!!!

After the company has spent a few thousand acquiring AutoCAD and the viewers
for the group, purchasing Autosketch is not feasible i'm afraid.

Maybe better to convert them to dwg or dxf.

How many files do you have?

Well.....that's all bad planning by the company isn't it...???!!!

Perhaps the company could forfeit their tea & biscuits budget for a week or
2.....that may certainly assist in deciding priorities within the
    organisation.

Good to see the company has spent money on a decent program. However, as I
    said.....bad planning.

AutoSketck is available for under a $100. QuickCAD is about $50.

Ric - QuickCad can open version 8 and earlier SKFs?

    A word to the wizened.

Converting someone elses numerous SKF files can be a chore. Be advised that no
good deed goes unpunished. But you all knew that. Right?

Although a few were SKF, AS v7 crashed when attempting to convert them to either
DXF or DWG. Anyone got any thoughts? Or maybe someone else wants to try.

    Yeah, right.

    Same build.....QuickCAD 8 & AutoSketch 8 are the same.....the only
difference is the so-called 3D business.
