Shrinking Screen Menu

Has anyone found a way to prevent the screen menu from shrinking to nothing when docked? The only way I know to correct it back is to undock it, restretch it and then redock it.
Bloody annoying...

No fix but there are several work-arounds. Do not maximize the drawing window, minimize and drag to fill the screen, do not close AutoCAD in a zero document state, close it with a drawing open. I'm sure someone will remember the others and post them.
