    Hi all,
I need to make linetypes wich consits of elipsse's Solid's and other ... So, how can I draw an Elipse, or Solid or other Acad primitives? in shp file then to use it in linetypes.

    for example:
    *133,4,CIRC1
    10,1,-040,0

These lines draws circle, anybody knows how can I translate these numbers??

Any hints, links would help me. Yhanks

  2. You can only draw things that can be defined as shapes (see the
Customization Guide in Help). There are various ways of doing straight
lines and arcs, but I don't think you can make ellipses or solids except by
simulating them (for example, with multiple curves at different radii, or
short line segments, to simulate ellipses, and with closely-spaced lines for
solids). You can indicate the scale of a shape in a complex linetype, but
only once (not x and y separately), so you can't do an ellipse by using a
circular shape and putting it in at different scale factors.

One thing you might try is to find a shape that you like in a
non-standard-characters font like Symbol or Wingdings or something, and do a
complex linetype using text elements, applying the appropriate character in
a text style using that font.
