Seeking info. on TurboCAD V10

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by John Rollings, May 26, 2004.

  1. I use AutoCAD 2004 and need a mechanical design package. I checked out
Inventor Series V8 which is great, but is too expensive for me right now.
Does anyone use and/or have any feedback to provide for TurboCAD
    Professional V10 ($679 US) in a mechanical design/layout application?

    thanks,
    John

I use AutoCAD 2004 and need a mechanical design package. I checked out
I've not used TurboCAD, but it is not a parametric design program, so
it really can't compare to Inventor. Here is another parametric
product in that price range, Alibre, www.alibre.com

Hi John, as to something in a price range you are
    comfortable with,
(only $116 more than TC V10!)- I suggest Alibre Design,
which is quite close to Release 8.0. Of course you can go
    the the company site,
or just stop off at mine and see what I have done on your
    way to their site!
(Nothing fancy - just stuff most users could do with your
    cad and drafting experience!)

    Go to: www.aircraft-computational.com,
follow the links through from there,
see some basic photo-rendered images and simple assembly
    animations in gif format,
as well as see some of the best new Alibre Design tutorials
    on the web.
You can even link to the companies free 30 Day Trial
    download from there!
    Enjoy, Robert
