Please respond to me if you have been or believe may have been victimized by
    Caterpillar and/or it's managers.

One emerged from its coccoon once and flapped its wings at me. Does this
    count?

Have you heard the expression that, "no one likes a smart ass"?

Have you heard the expression "No one likes a scam artist". Present your
credentials, introduce yourself and your cause. You are, after all, the stranger
here. I know dakeb, I don't kow you. Tell us what law Caterpillar is alleged to
have violated. Tell us what this suit is about. Tell us how you are involved and
precisely what your interest is. Be charming, be entertaining, be funny, be nice,
suck up to us. Do anything at all to convince us that we, for any other reason
than dumb, stupid, blind greed, should trust you, "Dan Richards". Then, maybe,
someone might take you seriously. Or **** off, your choice.

    Dan,

I have a client (not free to divulge the name) that's been burned by them.
They manuvered him into a spot where he's commited to a contract that loses
him money every year. seems to be S.O.P.

I've heard Applied Materials is just as bad.

It's predictable how brave people are with their opinions when they are
rather anonymous and inaccessible. I really can't imagine what kind of
idiot would come up with this crap, like I'm going to divulge such
    things in the public forum.

Using your text as a guide for what you might understand, you're a
    fucking lunatic!

Also I would like to apologize for Dave's foolishness here and for
exposing other mature participants to it.

    Yes, isn't it, sleezeball.

    :
Let me see, you come here publically recruiting for the public forum of a court
action. Are you planning to keep this law suit a secret? You're planning to
publically recruit for a public law suit, but then suddenly go under ground? Where
no one, including the plaintifs, can find you. Or, maybe you're someone from
Caterpillar, trying to head off a suit, testing the waters. There are so many
unsavory explanations for your behavior, so few wholesome ones. You owe an
explanation. I owe this forum and my friends a goodly dose of scepticism regarding
    your aims and motivation.

: Using your text as a guide for what you might understand, you're a
    : fucking lunatic!

Well, you don't believe your own words. Okay, I'm a lunatic and your sane and
reasonable course is go to out of your way to upset me by not answering a
reasonable request to provide bona fides thus upsetting me further. I repeat my
reasonable alternative to you showing your true face: **** off. No one here is
obliged to try to make you happy. There is no professional relationship here at
stake. No relationship of trust has been established by your forthrightness and
good will. You've proved nothing but your inablility to own up to your intentions.
Who are you "Dan Richards" and what do you want?

Here are my last foolish words on this subject: It's an election year in the US
which brings goofs and kooks out of the woodwork in droves. And they're all
    pitching something. Caveat emptor!

It's predictable how brave people are with their opinions when they are
Better an idiot than one more ambulance chaser. And a rather ignorant one,
to boot. What gives you this funny idea that anybody on this NG (including
your precious self) is 'rather anonymous and inaccessible'? This statement
is quite worthy of a technical ignoramus with a law degree. On the other
hand, if it comes from somebody considering himself a professional in any
computer-related field, it should be in and of itself grounds for dismissal
from any job above the janitorial skill level.

So, since intellectually you are obviously in no position to either
apologize for anybody else's 'foolishness' or to have anything remotely
resembling a discussion with 'mature participants', why don't you start yout
own NG, something like lawsuits.without.a-case and continue your
    ambulance-chasing there?

I guess newsgroups aren't a place to communicate with intelligent
people, hopefully there are a few out there. I didn't mean to attract
every nut case without a life that thinks division amongst us doesn't
    benefit every employer on earth.
