scaling

Let's say you have a line in microstation and you measure that line.
It measures 15 feet, but you know good and well that line should be
20 feet. Is there a command that will give you the difference in
scale
factors so you can scale that line to read 20 feet.
I know about active scale distance, but you'd have to draw a line 20
feet, then
move that line to a common point with the 15 foot line then initiate
the command. I'm looking for something with fewer steps.

Hi Donna, try this:

From the Modify tool box, select Extend Line
Identify the line at the end you want to extend
In AccuDraw's keyin window, keyin 20
Accept with a datapoint.
(Hint: Do not backspace, or wipeout the existing numbers in AccuDraws keyin
field...just press the number 2 and then the number 0)
