Within the scale tab for references is there a way to make that number go out to 9 or even 10 decimal places. I have files that I am scaling from State Plane to Ground and I need the significant figures to go out to about 10 places. Right now, it is only using 6 and it is creating major issues. When I have files that deal with a large coordinate base (i.e. 1,000,000 by 3,000,000) having only 6 decimals to use in a scale factor equates to about 0.5’ when scaling from State Plane to Ground.
I can manually scale the reference using known points in the files but I was hoping there was a way to just apply the larger factor (i.e. out to 10 decimals) and be done in the “Scale” dialog box.
Using solely the scale dialog box will eliminate multiple steps and take out a ton of potential user error.
