I am having a problem in one particular drawing in that every symbol inserted is automatically increased in size by a scale of 1.5 - this is only happening in the one drawing, works fine elsewhere. Is there a setting somewhere that is causing this? - I've looked but cannot find any obvious explanation.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thank you, Nick White

  2. Yes there is a setting in the drawing called 'scaling factor' - it will appear in the properties bar when you select a symbol - set it to 1.0 and tick the box next to it to keep the scale same for x & y.

Thank you - I am puzzled as to how that got changed to 1.5 in the first place but I now know what to look for.

  4. Actually this is a little scary trick that AS can play on you and I found out the hard way - if you place a symbol then enlarge it by dragging a corner handle then under some (unknown - can't remember the exact situation) circumstances all symbols placed from then on will also be at that 'new' scale
