    Hi Team,

I'm Sachin Duggal , and I am the owner of a bags manufacturing business. I’m currently working with AutoSketch 9 and wondering if it supports AutoCAD 2004/2005 drawings. I’m trying to import or open older AutoCAD files in AutoSketch, but I’m not sure about the compatibility.

Has anyone worked with AutoCAD 2004/2005 files in AutoSketch 9? If so, were there any specific steps or settings needed to make it work smoothly? Or are there any workarounds or tools that could help with this compatibility issue?

Would appreciate any tips or suggestions you might have!

    Thanks in advance!

Sachin I just joined and saw you plee, as Autosketch 10 was discontinued in 2008 it only reads 2007 dxf/dwg formats presumably V9 is reads older. You may need to get TrueView to convert later files back to 2007 format.

When Autosketch was introduced AutoDesk put a lot of effort into compatibility reading multiple CAD formats unfortunately they ignored it after 2007, releasing the last version V10.

A program called TrueView reads and saves multiple versions of DXF/DWG making a two-step approach to backward compatibility.
