Rotate Text to Line Routine

Does anyone know of a lisp routine or some other way to select a line/polyline, and a text/mtext entity and rotate the text to the line?? The idea is to keep the text "upright" so it is viewable on the final plan, so it would be great if the routine accounted for dview, etc to accomplish this. I've found a few lisp routines, but they rotate the text based on the angle of the line so it can come in "upside-down," and i'm not savvy enough to figure out how to edit the code. Any help would be great!!
