Rotate plan on plan

    I am doing land surveying work and need to take a subdivision plan on one
    layer and overlay it on my field plot layer to see my results. Is move and
    rotate the subdivision plan over my field work the answer?

    That would work. Though I'd probably leave the plan in one file and
    simply reference it into the field plot then rotate and shift the
    reference as required. It keeps the plan separate and is much easier
    to replace should you receive an updated plan.
