    Hi!

I'm new to the mac world, and on my new powerbook I miss Autocad.

Anyone can point me a good CAD, Autocad-compatible? All I'd need is to
open autodesk files, and probably modify them (but NOT necessarily, I
use windows on the workstations). I know, probably I cannot find
anything that is like autocad, but something that approximates it?

Autocad does not ship on mac, sigh! :(

    I really appreciate any help!

You might want to do a web search because AutoCAD once was available for macs, but that's years
ago (in the mid eighties). Since AutoCAD's command-set didn't evolve that much (except for 3D)
you might be quite confortable with that old AutoCAD, MAC version. But remember, it's a dynosaure.
