Is there a way to programmatically or otherwise keep AutoCAD from listing
    the network shared printers?

I create all the appropriate PC3 files and have those on a network share,
but I still see the 4-5 plotters shown as \\server\hp600, \\server\ln5455,
    or otherwise.

I only want the users to only see the PC3 files when selecting a plot
    device.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Options->Plotting lower left corner is a checkbox "Hide Systems
    Printers"

I'm not sure which variable this is to set it in a program.

  3. It is mysteriously left out of AcadPreferences in the Object Model so I set the following Registry Key to a value of 1:
    \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R16.0\ACAD-202:409\Profiles\<<Unnamed Profile>>\General\HideSystemPrinters
