Is there anyway you can bind a dwg, and then delete the frozen entities from that dwg without opening again?

This would be used when certain elements we don't want people to see, would be removed from the dwg when emailed etc...

    Thanks.

Why not just delete the items you don't want seen and save with a slightly different name. Better yet, with R2004, you can
etransmit after deleting and it will ask that you save the dwg before it makes a zip and you can save it to another
    directory.

    Hi,

I want to cut out as many manual steps as possible.
We work on large projects of 1000 sheets or more.

if there was an easy way to grab the frozen entities, stick them on another 'new layer' and then delete, purge etc
that was what I was thinking.

    Thanks

If the entities are frozen, they must already be on a certain layer. Just delete the layer.

    Use LAYDEL command from ExpressTools.

LAYDEL won't delete layers that you can't select.

you cna't type in a layer name and have LAYDEL remove it.
