Reload Block Definition

    I have a dwg that contains an inserted block. I have updated the external
    dwg definition of the block and wish to (thru lisp) reload the block
    definition so that inserted blocks update to the new definition.

    I have tried:
    insert but it just inserts the resident block
    path/block name programmatically into the dialogue box

    How should I be doing this?

    Is there a way to have this work, with files in a sub-directory of a 'supported directory' ??
