Refresh my memory: XML, why was it dropped from 2004+ ?

    Tried to look into the XML , Couldn't remember why was it dropped from
    Acad 2004 and up?

    Is it dropped completely, including pallette definitions. ??

    Assuming you're talking about the XML data transfer
    stuff, it was dropped because Autodesk seems to want
    to focus on proprietary solutions (like DWF).

    Thanks Tony, I was "thinking >typing" about the DXF replacement.
    It looks like the XML support had to go with the new DWG encryption,
    compression format. As for the DWF..nah... nobody has ever asked to send
    those. On other-hand PDF.... no need to write the novel here.
