I've noticed that a lot of Cadence's tools won't\ninstall in a Redhat 9.0 environment. The included\nCadence install-script aborts with some cryptic error\nmessage.\n\nFor now, I have been able to get around this by\ninstalling the x86-Linux tools on a Redhat8 machine.\nThen I use NFS-sharing to share the install-dir onto\na networked Redhat9 machine. (I also added\n"setenv LD_ASSUME_KERNEL 2.4.1".)\n\n....\n\nI understand that Cadence's official line is "Redhat 7.2\nnow, Redhat8 soon. Redhat9, you're on your own!"\n\nAnyway, do the later ISR/QSRs at least allow you to\nrun the install-script on a Redhat9 machine?
