    I'm using WF2 bM270

I created a coaxial hole in an assy.
Then Pro/E let's me create an axis pattern.
Even though Pro let's me create an axis pattern this "new way"...
    (without starting angle)
do I still need to do it the old way (with starting angle) to get the
radial pattern axis circle in my dwg?

    Mr Janes,

If you would kindly respond to this inquiry without the use of said
sledgehammer for the umpteenth time, it would be graciously
    appreciated.

OK I didn't feel like waiting to see if it was possible for it to work
with my hole pattern modeled that way.
I changed it so it was modeled the traditional way and it works.

My complaint: if Pro let's me create a radial pattern, then radial
    axis pattern circle should work.
Yeah I know, that makes too much sense, but then again, this IS Pro/E
    we're talking about here.

The trick, I think, is to create a radial/diametral hole first, not a
coaxial hole. It's expecting an axis and a plane as references, in either
order, but, when picking the second reference, be sure to hold down the CTRL
key. The axis becomes the radial/diametral reference; the plane the angular
reference. No need to create a moveable datum. When you do the axis pattern,
pick the angular value, etc. You should then get the radial/diametral axis
to show up with the dimension attached to it with the Show/Erase dialog but
sometimes it doesn't like to show. The only other thing you need is to make
sure the detail option radial_pattern_axis_circle is set to yes. Then, if
all else fails, do 'Show All'.

Sorry, I (and my sledge hammer) missed the other 26,495 times but hope we
passed muster this time as you're obviously frustrated and pissed at Pro/E
(a not uncommon occurrence). I guess I've cussed out Pro a couple times
    myself.
