PS or PCL printing

I have problems printing to HP Business Inkjet 2600DN. It is a networked Postscript / PCL5 printer. We used HP Color Inkjet 1700 before which was a PCL3 only printer, and had no problems with PCL printing. With the new printer when I try to use PCL driver, the install plotter setup finishes fine, but when I try to open the installed plotter, it says: "Invalid default media size" or something similar (we have a localized version of ADT.) If I choose the PS driver in the install plotter wizard, there is no problem.

Which driver is better for ADT printing, PS or PCL?
What is a workaround to the PCL problem?
