    Hi

This is really frustrating I can't seem to figure this one out.....

I am printing a 11 x17 drawing from paperspace on a HP laserjet

It Previews Fine and the Command bar shows plotting as 11 x17 so...that's
    good

    But

my printed page comes out 8x11.....

    So

I checked my Windows Printer default printer and its set to Letter so I
changed it to 11 X 17 and it still didn't work

    Any Suggestions?

    Thanks

When I right click on the Page Setup.....

On the Layout Settings Tab (in the Plot Dialog box) it shows 11 x17....

Well then I don't know. When you go to plot you pick the plotter and
also the paper size to be 11 X 17 right? It previews fine but only comes
    out 8.5 X 11?

    What laser jet is this?

    Hi Rich;

This is a first...never seen this before....
I went back in right-clicked on the PS tab and ...physically reselected the
printer driver from the drop-down box IT WORKED...

    kinda odd...

    Thanks for the help!

Well then reboot, then power cycle the printer if it worked yesterday!
    It will work tomorrow?

    Good luck, Rich

Ah, you beat me to it.

I was going to ask if you printer drivers had changed. We had the same
problem here when we first converted from R14 to 2002. I was going NUTS for
weeks because the preview would show fine, but it would print portrait
instead of landscape, and I'd get an 8x8 plot.

The only thing that saved me was when we upgraded our servers & switched
    from Novell to Win2000 Server.

The best I could figure out was that everybody had different drivers, so I
couldn't use the same PC3 file for everyone. The PC3 had to be unique on
EACH machine (not only FOR each machine, but ON each machine). We've got 43
(networked) licenses spread across about 70 PCs. Not a task I was looking
    forward to.

Once we upgraded the servers, we pushed to drivers out to everyone & the
    problem went away.

    Glad yours got fixed.
