    Hi,

    I have the following problem.
The print quality of a shaded views in a drawing SW2004 and SW2005 is
poor. I have tried everything new drivers etc. Now i am jusing PCL5e
driver but the quality is still poor. In Solidworks 2003 the quality
was oke. Have anybody this problem too?

    Best Regards!

    Eric

We had trouble with an HP printer when we changed to a photographic quality
unit. The resolution was so high the SWRomans font was almost invisible.

What is the nature of your quality problem?

Hello, we make line drawings and a 3d view (shaded view), the lines in
the line drawings are sharp but in the shaded views they are fat and
    milled.

Have you tried setting your page setup to "High Quality"? It takes a lot
(and I mean a lot) longer to print, but that's what I do when there are
shaded views. It prints excellent shaded views.

Yes, when I do this SW print a blanco page. When system setting is
enebled it works but a simple drawing takes 5 minutes. In SW 2004 I
    had not that problem

    Eric,

Five Minutes is a little high, but isn't that uncommon when printing shaded
views in high quality. Also, the more shaded views there are, and complex
geometry also seem to effect the length of time it takes to print. Maybe
    that is what's happening.

Remember, this "high quality" setting is new to SW2004.
