PoleZero VS. AC analysis in Spectre

    Hello all,

I am simulating a complex amplifier architecture, and I am interested
in monitoring the pole zero locations using PoleZero analysis. I have
a couple of questions w.r.t. Spectre analysis:

    1. The dominant pole shown by AC, is missing in Pole Zero analysis.
This is slightly strange because other high frequency poles are
    correctly reported

    2. Is there any improvement in PZ analysis in various Spectre
versions ? lets say from IC 5.1.41 to IC 6.14/6.15 ?

    Looking forward for good answers.

    CHeers !

I think you posted the same question on the Custom IC forums on the Cadence web
site - in which case it _might_ be something that has been improved in a later
MMSIM version (the IC version isn't relevant), but I think you'd be best
contacting Cadence customer support with an example showing the problem (once
you've tried the latest MMSIM release; I believe you were using MMSIM61 which is
rather old - maybe 5 years).

    Regards,
