    Hi All,
Can one get pole zero locations in 'stb' analysis. It will be quite
helpful in compensating for stabilising a complex network. I don't
know much about the 'stb' analysis method but since its small signal
analysis, if it calculates the transfer function, it should be easy to
get the pole-zero information from it.

    Hi Anand,

Off the top of my head, there is no a direct output of the poles/zeros
from the stb analysis. You could look at the pz analysis for this. But
as you said, the stb analysis is a small signal analysis that outputs
the gain/phase curves. One could easily read the poles and zeros from
there. Well, not really for complex systems. The main advantage with
the stb analysis is that it's a direct method that does not require
loop breaking during the AC analysis.
best for you is to look at the Spectre Manual for further details.

    Cheers,
    Riad.
