Plotter configuration selection jumping down three levels.

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by David \(CADsoft Consulting, Inc,\), Jul 3, 2003.

  1. There is an issue where selecting the plot device results in the actual
selected device being three levels below the one we attempt to select. This
has required use to close AutoCAD 2002 and then reopen the program to get
back into plotting so to correctly select the file the second time around.
This happened in one system and then over time this behavior has started to
show in in other machines in the office. Now, after a time, this behavior is
occuring on the 2004 seats so that this cannot be a issue with the software
itself? Is it an OS related issue and what can I suggest to resolve this?

    Thanks
    David

  2. Not sure of the number. The standard windows printer settings are checked so
not to display. Only PC3 files are visible to users.
Are excessive numbers of Windows Printers and PC3 files the cause?
