    Hi All,

Does anyone know how to make a polyine
have different (2-3) linetypes down the
stretch of the entity without it being changed into
one with the PEDIT JOIN commands?

    Thanks,

    Shane

    Hello Shane,

Lengthwise, you can assign only single linetype to a Polyline. It's always valid for all vertices. That is the reason why joining Polylines causes the linetypes to change into the linetype that is assigned to the first selected Polyline.

So, if you want individual groups of Polyline vertices retain their original linetype you should simply not join these, at least not beyond the vertex where you want to let another linetype begin.

Don't get confused with Multilines, for this entity type it's possible to have different linetypes for the individual lines that lay parallel to each other, but that is not what you're after.

    With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
