Pen plotter as digitizer

Hi,

It is possible to use HP pen plotters as data entry devices.

AutoCAD doesn't seem to natively support this (?).
Any pointers to a suitable ADI driver that *would*?
(i.e., replace or augment the mouse/tablet as an input
device to allow the plotter to drive the input)
