Ordinate Dimensioning

    On Version 2001, What is the best way of creating ordinate dimensions
    and could you please explain it step by step.

    IMHO:

    Read the Drawing manual.
    Create ordinate baseline(s) in your part while sketching.
    Show the baseline(s) in the drawing.
    Show dimensions ordinately using the baseline(s).
    Create dimensions where neeeded.

  3. Ordinate Dimensioning is easy..
    *Create a new reference
    this is a regular overall dimension
    *Then you need to turn it into a base
    insert/dimension/ordinate, then select create bases from the side
    menu
    select the extension line that you want to make your 0
    *To make more references from this 0,
    insert/dimension/ordinate, then select create dims, select your 0
    and start adding dimensions
