Objects printing in color - don't want them to

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by structuralsteel, Aug 2, 2004.

  1. I've got objects in a drawing that are printing in color and I can't figure out why they're doing so. I've got a plot style (.ctb) set up to plot to a color printer, and every color is set to print black on paper except cyan, which is set to print cyan on paper. The objects in question, however, are yellow on the screen, are set to bylayer on a yellow layer, and even show up black in print preview. They print cyan on paper, though. Help!

Have you tried selecting "print as grayscale" in the custom properties plot dialog box? Also, make sure your yellow color is actually defined as yellow and not cyan in your pen table settings.
