Non-Subscription AutoCAD Alternative

    Hello All,

    I hope all is well with you and your families!

    I am seeking recommendations for a non-subscription AutoCAD alternative for 2D drawings only (I prefer to pay once rather than on-going). Does such a beast exist? Also prefer old fashioned AutoCAD command line interface.

    LibreCAD (a pure 2D tool) or OpenSCAD I would recommend
