[newbie] option file(s)

  1. Hello,

    in which file(s) are the system and document options saved?

    If you want to copy these options, there is a copy options wizard that
    you can run.It is normally in your START>PROGRAM FILES> SOLIDWORKS>
    SOLIDWORKS TOOLS main menu.

  3. System Options are saved to the Windows registry, use Copy Options
    Wizard to copy them from one pc to another. Document options are saved
    into the document.

  4. You can set up documents for your parts, assemblies and drawings and then
    save them as templates. Then the next time you need that particular type of
    document, you open the appropriate template.
