New to Inventor and want to move parts from sub-assy into top level assy and retain the constraints

    Hello all,
    I am new to using Inventor today and having fun apart from... I have
    an assembly with several sub-assemblies from which I want to promote
    the parts to the top level assembly. Each time I try this I lose all
    of the constraints on the parts. Is there a way of promoting parts
    from sub-assemblies whilst retaining the constraints?
