Moving V7 to XP Pro

I've lately upgraded to a newer computer running XP Pro.

I can't get V7 to install, ... just after starting installation a dialog box
appears noting that "Setup requires _Setup.dll and _Isres.dll (located in
_Setup.lib) in order to operate properly. Please ensure that these files are
located with Setup.exe" and then installation fails.

I'm installing from the original CD; checking the CD using Windows Explorer,
Setup.exe, _Setup.dll and _Setup.lib are all in the same top-level directory
    on the CD.

Is V7 compatible with XP Pro ? If so, any comments on how to overcome this
    install problem would be appreciated.

AutoSketch 7 & QuickCAD 7 are the same build.....QC7 installs & runs fine
    under XP Pro.

2 things to note when installing:

    * you must have full Administration Rights
    * disable all Anti-Virus software prior to installation. Some AutoDesk
software have problems installing under Norton AV 2004. There may be a
patch for this (there is for AutoCAD based software). If still
unsuccessful, check the AutoSketch Knowledge Base for further information.
