Measuring a perpendicular distance between two objects

    How do I measure from the mid point of an arc perpendicularly to a nearby polyline in VBA?
    - In AutoCAD this is quite easy from the command prompt
    - Names of arc and polyline are known within VBA code.

    Note - I need to achieve this in VBA without any user interaction.
