Hi, I have 1500+ dwgs I need to make slides (.sld) files from. I'm looking for an automated way to do this rather than opening each file and typing mslide. Does anyone know of any applications that will help me? I've tried CADieu, but it doesn't seem to work on ACAD 2000i w/ Win2000. Thanks, Paul

Thanks. I think this might work, but does anyone know of other applications to do this as well? Thanks.

AutoM8 from M8Tools will let you batch process unlimited number of drawings.
Just create your command script with the Change option of AutoM8 and
    then select your drawings.

  5. BlockWerx can do this. Create a Library from the folder the drawings are in and
change the display to Slides. Right click on the Library and choose Redraw All
    Slides or Redraw Missing Slides...

CadXplorer can put them into a .slb and let you view them from Explorer when
    you're done ;)

We were using a free a software, now shareware but you could easily batch
script this with a batch routine.

Try looking up batch at www.cadalog.com in the shareware, AutoCAD portion.
    Good stuff.

How about using scriptpro with a script for making the slides.

If you have 1500 plus drawings, you can create a script to zoom extents then use mslide to create the slide.

Because you have CADieu, you can use that to compile all of the slides into a slide library. Works great!
