making a link between autocad and matlab

    If I created a part in autocad, and I want to make some operations on
    that part by matlab, for example If I want to check some of the shape
    characteritics of that part by writing a code in matlab, in the same
    time I should have all the information about the part created in
    autocad. I want to know how to make that link between to softwares.
