Lt 97 (R14) start up adjustments

    1) While starting Lt 97 I see a message box that says "the template
    aclt.dwt cannot be loaded. The default settings will be used." I have
    searched preferences and have not been able to locate how to redirect
    the template shoice to eliminate this message? Any ideas?
    2) How do I turn off the UCS arrows located in the lower left hand
    corner of the screen?
    3) When I try to open a file the AutoCAD LT 97 default directory
    appears. How do I change this to c:\data\acad ? (I have tried
    preferences without success)

    1. one solution would be to save an empty drawing as aclt.dwt
    2. I believe the system variable is ucsicon
    3. I'm not certain, but most applications seem to remember where you
    opened a file last time.
