Line type: model and layout scale?

I've noticed that when using dash lines it's pattern appears
differently in the model and in the layout, although the scale value
has a global effect on the line pattern. That tends to be a problem
as it's possible that in the model, if the pattern is rendered with a
small scale, those lines start to become a bit unintelligible.

Is it possible to specify a scale for those line patterns that only
affects the way it is rendered in the model view?

    Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure about what is causing your problem but if you select
properties and then the line, you should be able to set the Linetype
Scale to what you want which should control the scale of the line.
You can also issue "LTSCALE" at the command line to do the same thing

Thanks to your tip I've manage to find out the PSLTSCALE variable,
which appears to do exactly what I wanted.

    Thanks for the help,
